DESIGNER & ILLUSTRATION EXCLUSIVE
Becker & Mayer (Jan 2004 to Oct. 2009)
Create assembly, product, editorial, and book cover illustrations.
Hire freelance illustrators for the juvenile division of Becker & Mayer.
Design books, packaging, and product development for hundreds of children’s titles.
Work with other designers and editors as well as project managers on multiple
deadlines.

PRODUCT DESIGNER
Microsoft MSN Shopping (Mar 1999 to Aug 2003)
Created all editorial and product illustrations for the MSN Shopping channel site.
Designed storefront features, user interface features, icons, and site architecture.
Executed complex daily changes within the website and completed merchandiser ad
solicitations and editorial soft-content orders.
Worked with over 80 team members specializing in different areas of the site
including other designers, product developers, art directors and editors.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER & ILLUSTRATOR
MSN Sidewalk National Team (Aug 1998 to Mar 1999)
Designed and illustrated elements of the entire MSN Sidewalk.com website.
Created ‘buyer’s guide’ product illustrations, editorial illustrations, and
schematic diagrams.
Researched outside sources in order to create clear and innovative visual images.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER & ILLUSTRATOR
Anchorage Daily News (Mar 1995 to July 1998)
Created information graphics, publication covers, teaser boxes, and editorial illustrations.
Worked with a team of 5 editors and journalists on a crucial set of high-priority daily deadlines.

MULTIMEDIA ARTIST
Microsoft Explorapedia (Jan 1993 to Jan 1995)
Designed user interfaces, and created production/illustrations for several Microsoft multimedia
CD-Rom titles.
Worked on Explorapedia, Atlas, Art Gallery, Encarta, Dinosaurs, and Musical Instruments.
Created short animated ‘sprites’.
Developed imaginative iconography, children’s characters, and engaging user interfaces.
Worked with a team of designers and illustrators.
